The environmentally conscious design is masterfully set out to make the most of the sunlight and ocean breeze. The villa is built around a central wing with the living room, master suites and service area intersected by two additional wings which include suites, gardens, swimming pool and more. The structure forms a wide H allowing every part of the villa access to the surrounding environment. With even the corridors and hallways constructed around an open design philosophy the effect is to provide spectacular natural illumination and ventilation for all 4900 m² of the building.

The structure’s elegant use of sustainably sourced laminated wood as the primary building material helps it blend seamlessly into the surrounding natural environment. With large windows and spatial openings on to the rest of the estate wherever possible, the design opens the building up and integrates it with the whole 39000 m² property. Gardens built around the suites yet within the structure lend the design a further natural touch, and the spectacular inside-outside pool, capped off by its’ own gourmet kitchen, completes the artful mix with befitting grandeur.

The two master suites are separately located on the 2nd floor giving each a substantial degree of privacy. Each master suite comes with its’ own private living room, walk-in closet and veranda overlooking the rest of the estate. Both are luxuriously furnished with the most comfortable beds as well as artfully selected furnishings which retain the natural aesthetic that distinguishes the estate.

Descending from either of the two master suites one arrives at the spacious, opulently lighted and immaculately designed living room. The living room contains ample space and seating for the whole household and is more than capable of hosting large groups of guests in comfort. With a high ceiling and towering framed windows replacing plain walls the space possesses an ambiance overflowing with light and positivity, creating the perfect environment for casual socializing.

Heading towards the rear wing you will find 8 of the similarly well-furnished en-suite bedrooms mixed with direct access into the garden. Each bedroom has its’ own unique style and method of integration with the building and outside environment; all of them however keep guests in sumptuous luxury. The suites are divided at the halfway point by the special cinema room, a perfectly equipped miniature movie theatre in the comfort of your home.

Passing through the second intersecting wing you’ll stop by the artfully crafted reflecting pond. On one side and connecting to the pool is the lengthy swimming pool which is perfect for exercise and escaping the summer heat. A small gourmet kitchen at the end of the pool provides an opportunity for a snack or drink before or after any swimming session.

The other side of the wing contains 2 more bedroom suites as well as the personal gym and a personal spa. The wing is perfectly equipped for all your physical well-being and relaxation needs. Like in every part of the villa only the very best equipment and artfully selected furnishings are employed.

You will also have the Golf course with a Golf Academy for instruction and practice, and a fully equipped nautical part with options such as boat, jet ski, wind surfing, stand up, kayak, laser sailing, and many others.

A new gym was recently opened, with countless top-of-the-line equipment, as well as the new SPA with many wonderful treatments.

Recently renovated, the apartment has huge windows in the living room, from where you can see famous sights such as the Forte de Copacabana and the Sugar Loaf with all its splendor.

This beautiful property has 3 very spacious bedrooms (and another 2 reversible) and 3 bathrooms. The rooms are very spacious because, after all, there are 560m² of total area. The master bedroom is an apartment itself, as you have a separate television/entertainment area, which actually has sliding wooden doors that can be closed to make this an extra bedroom. This master bedroom has a beautifully done en-suite bathroom, with an over-sized shower. There can even be a 5th bedroom made in the living room, as in this area there is a separate open alcove with sliding doors which can be closed for privacy.

The bathrooms are very well lit and have a soft decor, based on wood and porcelain, with plants and many mirrors. All the environments are cozy and well decorated.

The highlight of the property is the good-sized terrace, as it features not only your own private dipping pool but a waterfall as well. Also, behind the waterfall, you have a sauna, from where you can look out its window to see through the waterfall and out to the Atlantic Ocean.

The terrace wraps around from the pool and waterfall area, over to the main master bedroom as well - which you can walk out from - and features a barbecue and many comfortable lounge chairs, for you to sit back and relax, day or night. There is ample dining space as well, so you're able to enjoy chef-cooked meals outside, under the stars of Rio, with unobstructed views to the beach and ocean. This top-floor master suite has floor-to-ceiling windows on 2 of the walls, which allows you to have complete and open ocean views from anywhere in the room, even from your king-sized bed.

The bedroom also opens to the large terrace, giving you adequate indoor/outdoor living space. The corridor and breakfast area is decorated in a pop art fashion, and the dining table seats 20 – a great room to host a dinner party while looking out to the Atlantic. With this rental comes two maids and a coordinator (English, Spanish and Portuguese speaking) who will help you to facilitate your stay in Rio de Janeiro.
