Historic Luxury Villa with Panoramic Vistas over Capri on the Sorrento Coast
Nestled in the quiet village of Termini, away from the bustle of central Sorrento, this exceptional former monastery offers a rare blend of heritage, seclusion and spectacular Mediterranean views.
Beautifully restored and surrounded by lush gardens, the villa enjoys an extraordinary position overlooking the sea, with Capri appearing almost within reach. From the terraces and outdoor living areas, guests can admire the island’s iconic Faraglioni rocks rising from the deep blue Mediterranean, while the island of Ischia can also be seen in the distance.
Spanning approximately 500 m² across three levels, the property accommodates up to 12 guests in six elegant en-suite bedrooms. Its generous interiors include two living rooms, two dining areas and a fully equipped kitchen, creating ample space for families and groups of friends to enjoy both privacy and conviviality throughout their stay.
The villa’s interiors reflect the character and craftsmanship of southern Italy. Traditional Neapolitan terracotta floors, hand-finished ceramics from Vietri sul Mare and refined textiles sourced from the historic silk workshops of San Leucio have been carefully combined with elegant furnishings and timeless decorative details.
Outside, the property is designed around the Mediterranean lifestyle. Spacious panoramic terraces invite guests to enjoy long breakfasts, sunset aperitifs and dinners beneath the stars, while the private swimming pool provides a spectacular setting overlooking the sea.
The landscaped grounds are equally charming, with mature vegetation, fruit trees and an organic vegetable garden adding to the authentic atmosphere of the estate. Multiple outdoor areas allow guests to move effortlessly between sun, shade and sea views throughout the day.
Despite its peaceful setting, the villa offers an excellent base from which to discover the Sorrento Peninsula, Capri and the wider Campania region. Termini retains the atmosphere of a traditional Italian village, allowing guests to experience a more authentic side of the coast while remaining within easy reach of its most celebrated destinations.
With its remarkable history, panoramic Mediterranean setting and generous indoor and outdoor spaces, this villa is an exceptional retreat for families and groups seeking an elegant and private stay on the Sorrento Coast.
