Praia de Pipa is a famous beach located in the municipality of Tibau do Sul, 85 km from Natal, capital of the state of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. It is the main resort on the southern coast of the state, which also includes beaches such as Ponta do Madeiro and Praia do Amor. The most endemic and atypical characteristic of this tropical paradise is the junction between imposing dunes superimposed on the horizon on top of the tablelands that end up in geo-morphologically alive cliffs by the action of the sea and winds; there is no other place in the world where the coastline of dunes and sedimentary cliffs combine in such a spectacular way with a dense green that even takes over the cliff face.
